Eagle Scout Awards were presented to Christopher Bodkin, Cody Savage, Kyle Bodkin, Matthew Longman and Zachary Oman on Nov. 30, 2008. The boys are members of Troop 523 which is sponsored by the Barnes Park Ward.
Christopher, son of Lew and Liz Bodkin, earned 28 merit badges. For his Eagle project he donated more than 300 stuffed animals to the Kaysville Police and Fire departments.
Cody, son of Brent and Kasy Savage, earned 29 merit badges. For his Eagle project he updated Kaysville’s veterans list and mailed invitations for a Veteran’s program that he helped with.
Kyle, son of Lew and Liz Bodkin, earned 28 merit badges. For his Eagle project he re-landscaped an area at Kaysville Jr. High School.
Matthew, son of John and Susan Longman, earned 29 merit badges. For his Eagle project he donated 43 blankets to Shriners Hospital.
Zachary Oman, son of Rich and Lori Baron and Kirk Oman, earned 25 merit badges. For his Eagle project he collected and donated more than 100 video games to the Oncology Clinic at Primary Children’s Hospital.
